Unplugging and Regaining the Human-to-Human Connection

In a recent article published by American Banker, the topic of discussion was of large banks intentionally making the enrollment process at their institutions not fast or quick. Why would a corporation do that? Because they see the value of human interaction and connection in a realm of electronic quickness and automation. In fact, a large national bank has a 45-minute initial enrollment process! Not only does this require interaction, but a banker is able to get a full picture of what the customer needs.

Though 45 minutes is a little long, I admire the fact that large banks are seeing the value of human interaction. Here at First Capital, we’re all about that interaction. We take the time, if you have it, to understand your financial goals. We get the full picture of what you are trying to accomplish, and whether that takes 5 minutes or 50 minutes, we’re here to assist you. Give us a call, or come in and see us. We’d be happy to help you and offer you a cold beverage for this warm Spring weather.
